Wedding Rings

Materials: Solid 14k Gold, Montana Teal Sapphire, Blue Sapphire, Emerald

When W and B approached me with their vision for a pair of nontraditional wedding rings, I was delighted to take on the project.

They wanted the wedding rings to represent their union and suggested setting both a sapphire and an emerald, each gem representing one of them.

With their vision in mind, I produced several designs, experimenting with different ornamental elements and gem placements. The design we landed on features a swirling motif and the addition of a Montana teal sapphire in the center, elements that I felt further amplified the symbolism of the ring as a representation of their union.
